Camp 4 Kids Program

Each year, Peel Children’s Aid Foundation provides funding to send over 360 vulnerable children and youth under the supervision of Peel Children’s Aid to day and overnight camp.  A week at overnight camp or two weeks at day camp can be a life changing opportunity.  Children interact with their peers and develop social skills in a relaxed setting.  They learn new skills that increase their self-esteem and open their eyes to activities that may become hobbies or even careers in the future.  Most importantly, they get to leave the worries of their everyday lives behind. 

Peel Children’s Aid also serves many children who are physically, emotionally or mentally challenged, some of whom require one-on-one care.  Camps that accommodate special needs children charge a higher fee in order to pay for additional caregivers and specialized accommodation, facilities, transportation etc.
